You also want to define what types of scalp you have: oily or dry. For oily scalp, avoid for overly-moisturizing shampoos, and for dry scalp, reach for moisturizing shampoos.
2. Massage Your Scalp
Scalp massage can reduce stress and tension while promoting hair growth. And you can easily do it at home with your fingertips or a scalp massage tool.
After you oil your hair, you can use your fingertips of both your hand to move around your scalp in circles, and work your way across your scalp.
This is my absolute favourite hair oil to use when massaging my scalp.

3. Dry Your Hair with Microfiber Towel
Microfiber towels help prevent damage and frizz. The material is much gentler on your hair and will help you air dry your hair. It is important that you don’t roughly rub it through your hair drying them, even with these softer materials.
4. Weekly Deep Conditioning
If you suffer with dry hair, then you need to do this. Our hair produces this kind of oil called sebum that lubricates the scalp and hair. But the amount of sebum on your hair can varies depending on age, stress, and other concerns.
By deep conditioning your hair weekly, you can boost shine, increase smoothness, and detangle your hair.
There’s a misconception that you need to rinse your hair with shampoo before you can deep condition your hair, but the truth is: If your hair is not particularly oily or dirty, you can skip the rinsing part.
What have been missing out if you have not heard of this viral Japanese hair mask!
It makes my hair so smooth and it leaves my hair smelling nice and refreshing.

I get it, you want your hair to look good and cute, but you should try your best to limit heat styling tools as much as possible.
Try using alternative methods like heatless curling sets or the sock method.
If you can’t live without your curling iron, then make sure you use heat protection when you are applying heat to your hair, and never never never apply heat to wet hair!

When you are moving around in your sleep, there’s friction between your hair and your pillow case, which could damage your hair health.
There are different ways to protect your hair during your sleep, like using a silk pillow case, or using a hair bonnet to protect your hair.
Reduce frizz, keep you hair healthy and shiny with a high quality silk pillow case.
The pillow case is so soft, not only does it prevent tangles, it can also be beneficial for your skin, keeping your skin moisture.

You can keep your hair hydrated by drinking sufficient water, loading up on hydrating fruits and vegetables like cucumbers, watermelon, and strawberries.
Taking on supplement can also boost hydration in hair, such as collagen. Collagen is known for promoting thicker hair and smoother skin. It is important to note that collagen is too big of a molecule to be absorbed through outer usage, so it could only be ingested.
I’ve been using this collagen powder for 3 months and my hair now grows much faster and healthier. It also makes my dry skin hydrated.
